🌟 Riverside Beat Weekly Round Up! 🌟 Your Riverside neighbourhood team has been out in the community this week, training hard, supporting residents, and keeping our area safe. 👮♂️ Neighbourhood Policing Training Riverside officers took part in Neighbourhood Policing Portfolio Training, strengthening their skills to deliver professional, community focused policing across the beat and improve their ability to respond to local priorities. 🚁 Assisting the Air Ambulance Team Hafsa and Phil were quick on scene to support the Air Ambulance by securing a safe landing zone so critical care teams could reach those in urgent need. 🏫 DMU Patrols & Incidents Our dedicated DMU officer, PC Jess, has been carrying out proactive patrols around campus, Castle Gardens, and nearby student accommodation to help keep the area safe and reassured. 🎨 Easter Pottery at SAPA Play Association Hafsa and Phil also attended an Easter themed pottery session with SAPA Play Association. This gave young people a fun, positive space to get creative, stay engaged and avoid potential anti social behaviour. They also took time to listen to families and offer ongoing support. 🚲 Bike Register Event Nelson Mandela Park PCSO V hosted a bike marking event to help protect bikes from theft by securely registering them on the national database. Thank you to everyone who came along! 🏪 Business Drop Across Riverside V also checked in with local businesses including the LRI, DMU, supermarkets, and independent shops. These visits allow us to listen to concerns, support business owners, and offer personalised crime prevention advice. 🐣 Wishing everyone across Riverside a safe and Happy Easter! 🐰🌷 #RiversideBeat #LeicesterCityPolice #yousaidwedid #inyourcommunity
